The monument rises on an eight-metre-high marble platform at the edge of exquisite ornamental gardens. At its heart, the central sanctuary is crowned by a graceful bulbous dome, embraced by four delicate cupolas. Fashioned entirely from semi-translucent white marble, every surface is adorned with carved blossoms and inlaid with thousands of glittering semi-precious stones.
